Question ID: 341842
on my windows XP under user accounts i get an error message that says
: user account cannot supply requested class. I just had to delete
some things from the registry to try and get rid of an old version of
mcafee so a new one would install correctly, finally gave up and just
got norton. i did make a back up registry. I also just got a adware
remover. do you think i need to reinstate the registry and if i do
then how will i get error messages from mcafee since i am not going to
use it?

I was trying to change my User name box when I open the laptop, so I
don't have to click on the User name box to get to my home page. I
just want to go straight to it. That's when I encountered the error
on the User page, but they may not be how I change it.
