Your challenge: recommend one penny stock on the OTC that will go up
at least 100% within a week after you post your answer.

If the ask price on your stock goes up at least 100% over the bid
price on the day of your answer within a week, you get a five star
ranking, a generous tip, and the admiration of penny stock players
around the world. If the ask is at least 50% higher at any time
during the week, or the ask price is at least the same as the starting
bid price on the close of the day of your answer after one full week
(ie, you haven't lost any money at the end of the week), you still get
a five star rating for effort. Any other result gets you a one star,
and by golly you'll like it!

Any takers? Oh, and no requests for clarification please. You either
get it or you don't.

Hailstorm

You are being extraordinarily generous.

I calculate the odds of any normal mortal being able to predict to
your specification are precisely 7 Zillions to 1.

But, if Pinkfreud, should visit Delphi ....

As she well might with such a fortune at stake ...

Then, given her following ....

Each day there are generally several stocks that double in value in
just a day's time:

Certainly you don't put it past any of our talented Researchers to
find one in advance?

Well, Hailstorm, I know full well that you are (arguably) the most
talented Researcher of all.

So, you pick one share NOW ... And show us all just how easy it is.

Please?

If you want that answer from me, you'll have to start your own question! ;-)

Until then, sector 341929 is my realm, and I will let the other GA
masters take their shot.

OK, Hailstorm,

As none of the REAL Researchers has risen to the challenge, I am going
to have a go. (Aw, gee, maybe someday I will be invited to join those
lofty ranks ... I live in hope.)

Well, let me preface this by saying that I don't believe that shooting
for the stars with penny stocks is the right way to go about
investing. The only real money I've made in the stock market is
investing for the long haul. However, I don't back down when called
out, so I'll give it a shot.

PACEL CORP (OTC BB:PCCL.OB)
http://finance.yahoo.com/q?s=PCCL.OB

Close of business May 6th Ask Price: 0.025

This is one of those companies that is affectionately known as a "POS"
(I'll leave it as an exercise to the reader to expand that acronym)
It has changed ticker symbols on numerous occasions (PACC, PCEL, etc)
Due to massive dilution and mismanagement, the stock has fallen from a
reverse split adjusted price of around $60,000.00 a share to below two
cents in recent days.

However, when this PR hit earlier today:
http://biz.yahoo.com/prnews/040506/clth067_1.html

The stock jumped almost 40% on the news of a new CEO.

Since these guys likely have to continue diluting their stock in order
to continue financing their business, I believe they will continue to
put out new PRs in an attempt to pump up their value. Likewise, other
unscrupulous money makers may try to "pump and dump" this stock in
order to make a quick buck.

While I have zero confidence in this as a long term investment (and
wish I'd picked it yesterday when it was still only 0.019), I'll go
out on a limb and say that this pig will rise to 0.05 at some time
within the next week...though even if it does that, it may still fall
below 0.025 again by May 13th.

Oh, (said he with a very red face) I am afraid that I messed up my
Question and reversed the order of the "bid" and "ask" price. I can't
imagine why I stumbled with this because, technically, that would make
it easier for me, since the bid price is always lowers than the ask
price, but I will grade this against what I meant to say instead.

Here's hoping!

Sorry, Hailstorm, but I did get the tip from a VERY disreputable
source: in my experience these are usually the best.
