all of a sudden my computer doesn't recognize that there is a web page
called hotmail.com.  I am able to reach it from my home computer
without any problems.  On the same day I did download some new apple
updates.  Could that be the problem?  Dave Chapel

It's possible that your system administrator has disabled access to
hotmail. Have you asked?

have you tried the address with the "www" in front? 

if it still doesn't work, try going into the msn webpage first,
"www.msn.com". from there log click on the Hotmail link (mine's on the
upper left of the browser).

are you trying to do this in your laptop or at your work. what
computer operting system do you have let me know. may be i can help
you on this problem. ok so let me know what to do u have?

Hi,

Do you have firewall in your system and mistakenly blocked
www.hotmail.com, remember www.hotmail.com always use SSL port 443 if
that is disabled you will be having problem in login too.
