Dear delaplla,

The USS Los Angeles was built built in 1923-24 at the Zeppelin works
in Friedrichshafen, Germany for the U.S. Navy. This is, because the
Los Angeles was a Zeppelin type dirigible, not a vessel. The USS Los
Angeles, delivered as a war-debt compensation, was originally planned
to be a commerical airship, furbished to carry 20 passengers.
