I need the lyrics for a choral-ish song whose refrain is something
like "don't you look to the left, dont you look to the right, just
keep in the middle of the road"

This is a spiritual.  I have not been able to find the lyrics on the

I did not post this as an answer, because I was not sure whether
locating sheet music to buy would be acceptable to you.

The song is an old spiritual called “Keep to the Middle of the Road”
and is a very popular choral piece, showing up on a lot of CD’s and a
lot of music programs. I was, however, also unable to find the lyrics
online. Here is what I did find.
