Are you sure about the spelling of the name "Youssef"?  There are many variations.

Do you know anything more about this person -- the approximate time
when she would have been a member of a band, the names of any songs
she played, etc?

Yes, the spelling of the surname Youssef is correct.

The bands were located in Sydney (Australia). I believe that one of
the bands also performed at one of the Sydney "Big Day Out" concerts,
which means that the timing would be after 1990/1991 (also possibly
before 2002/2003).
