Howdy tecate21-ga,

Frpm the Sun Product Documentation's "Setting Up Accounting" web page.
http://docs.sun.com/db/doc/801-6629/6i109n9rm?a=view

"If you want accounting to be turned on when the system is in multiuser
mode (system state 2), link /etc/rc2.d/S22acct to /etc/init.d/acct."

Here is the command that one would use to make the link.

ln -s /etc/init.d/acct /etc/rc2.d/S22acct

If you need any clarification, feel free to ask.

Search Strategy

Google search on: "/etc/rc2.d/S22acct" accounting
