I'm looking for a statistic I read several years ago (probably in a
journalism trade magazine) that the percentage of business news in a
daily newspaper had grown from 7% to 15% over the past two decades.
I'm trying to find the source for this fact. They refer to it as the
business "news hole." This would include the business special section
or pages as a percentage of the paper.

This statistic reflects an adverage for daily newspapers in the United States.
