Yes, the company found is the type I'm looking for. If you could find
any other ones located closer to the East Bay (Berkeley/Oakland/Walnut
Creek, etc)

Sorry for the delay...

I'm also in the Bay Area, and I attended a wedding last year that
actually featured a lot of rented trees. Anyway, I spoke with the
bride this evening, and she told me that she rented the trees from a
company called Hartmann's in Richmond.  She told me that she shopped
around a lot and found their selection and service to be the best.

Hartmann's web site indicates that they operate a huge nursery called
Green Valley Plant Rental that has a wide selection of trees:
