I have an office that is fitted with an Alcatel OmniPCX digital phone
system and I want to get it interfaced with Outllok, so an incoming
caller ID automatically brings up their details from our database. I'm
interested in getting step by step instructions (including hardware &
software requirements) to achieve this. I have a server running Win2k,
but also have Small Business Server software, which I may want to
implement later, and a PC running WinXP which is on the network and
has Outlook on it.

First, researchers might be better off not researching the direct
question (unless they are Alcatel engineers) but should look for
expertise (e.g. Alcatel engineers who have posted their resume) and
get information from them. Telling me to go to the Alcatel dealer is
not answering the question - I'm asking this question to have someone
get the info for me!

Researchers, you're free to work on this question. For the record,
barryn56 is not interested in PIMphony.

I used to be a contractor for Alcatel. There's no other way to
integrate the oPCX system with Outlook unless you use PIMphony. It
simply can't be done any othe way.
