Ooh-La Latte Nail Polish by Maybelline. Ooh-La Latte is the key color
I'm particularly looking for. They seem to be discontinued and I
couldn't find it anywhere on internet including Ebay. The full name is
Express Finish Nail Enamel in Ooh La Latte by Maybelline.

I also ran into some very illegitimate looking website vendors that
sell discontinued Maybelline products with minimum of $5,000 purchase.

Please me help me find a legitimate, honest stores that may have this
product at a reasonable price.  Thank You

Hi acf3passion-ga,

As huntsman-ga noted in his comment, while one page of Maybelline's
web site indicates that Express Finish comes in "Ooh-La-Latte", the
main page for Express Finish does not contain that color.

The page does, however, contain the color "Cafe au Lait".  While many
coffee connoisseurs will tell you that latte and cafe au lait are
different, some people confuse the two.  So my suspicion is that
Maybelline did not want to have both a latte color and a cafe au lait
color for the same product.

So, it could be that you are thinking of the "Cafe au Lait" color of
nail polish, rather than the "Ooh-La-Latte" color.

Or, you could be thinking of the "Ooh-La-Latte" colors for Expert Eyes

.  If you blend those colors of eye shadow, I presume that you get a
color that would match the color of "Cafe au Lait" for the nail
polish.

I was tempted to post a more detailed version of this as an answer,
but I can't run it by Maybelline at the moment, because their customer
service office is closed on the weekend.  I'll try to call on Monday.

And in any event, I also should run the potential answer by you, since
you feel sure that there was an "Ooh-La-Latte" color for nail polish.

In the meantime, I have two questions for you:

1)  Have you only heard that Maybelline produces an Ooh-La-Latte color
of Express Finish, or have you actually seen a bottle of it?  (If you
have, then Maybelline needs to fix its web site!)

2)  Do you think that I am on the right track with either or both of
my suggestions -- that you are thinking of the Cafe au Lait nail
polish or the Ooh-La-Latte eye shadow trio?

My girlfriend is particularly looking for that color.  She is sure of
it.  It may be that Maybelline had changed the name of the same color
to "Cafe au Lait" recently, but that doesn't actually matter because
I'm trying to get her the rare, disontinued kind with the label,
"Ooh-La Latte" on the bottle.  So I can surprise her.. you know.. the
whole girlfriend thing.

I certainly appreciate your effort.  Please let me know if you can get
some more information regarding "Ooh-La Latte" from Maybelline
headquarters.. (i can't seem to get their number)  Oh yea, it's the
nail polish not eye shadow or anything like that.

An update -- Maybelline sent me an e-mail about Ooh-La-Latte Express
Finish:

"This shade was part of a promotion that was manufactured in limited
quantity and for a limited time.  It is no longer available."

So your friend is right! -- there was an Ooh-La-Latte color for
Express Finish.

The e-mail may explain why finding this color is so difficult.  It's
out there somewhere -- but it's probably rare.

I'll let you know if I find it.  In the meantime, all you Google
Researchers, keep searching!

(Perhaps you'll want to cancel this question and repost it, mentioning
the fact that you posted the question before and stating what you've
learned from the initial posting.  Reposting the question might bring
new researchers into the search.  You'll have to pay the 50-cent
posting fee again, but it may be worth it.)
