"Attitudes are based on three components: beliefs, which are judgments about what is true or about relationships that are probable, affects, which are feelings of attraction or repulsion, and behavioral dispositions, which are predispositions or intentions toward action." In this case, the jurors' belief that a beautiful person could not be a criminal prevented them from convicting her. Psychology and Life, 12th edition, by Philip G. Zimbardo, Scott, Foresman & Co., 1985, page 608 Sincerely, Wonko |
