I need some one to tell me in their opinion what website they would choose if they needed to have a domain appraised. I would like a list of 6 in order (#1 best choice .#2 second best choice .) of which domain appraisal company you would choose. Under each of the 6 choices please explain why you choose the ones you did. Please also take into consideration the price of the appraisals. Also feel free to add any information about domain appraisals if you learn anything while answering my question. |

Good Morning, cmecklen-ga! This topic is a fairly debatable one. Unlike, say, art or antique appraisals, the standards for domain-name appraisal are not as yet well-established. For a full discussion of this topic, with its corresponding ups and downs, see this previous question and its answer: https://answers.google.com/answers/main?cmd=threadview&id=16488 I believe Missy covered the territory quite thoroughly, so I won't pad her research to earn your $5.50! |

The value of a domain name is what people are willing to pay. Despite appraisals. . Generally speaking shorter, common, properly spelt singular words which are not phonetically confusing are worth more. e.g. getthree.com, get3.com, getfree.com are phonetically confusing. . International domains like .com are more than say .co.uk |
