I'm looking for a just-the-facts quantitative comparison of
regulations regarding the manufacture and sale of guns compared to
automobiles. In other words, how many laws regulate the sale and
manufacture of firearms vs. the number of laws that regulate the same
for autos. This question excludes laws regarding the use of either.
Just manufacture and sale. Total state and federal would be great,
but I realize that might be too hard to track down - so I'll limit the
question to just federal.
