In late June or early July of 1949 a swimsuit contest was held for the
title of MISS JONES BEACH in New York. I have been unable through the
internet to receive inquires to varies chamber of commerces that might
further my search. The winner of this title was Miss Joan O'neill from
New York and our group was hoping to obtain any articles or pictures
from this contest. We have no idea what newspapers or library archives
might have regarding this contest.

Oddly enough, speaking of beautiful women at Jones beach, i ran across
