My husband And I are planning to start a medical transport service. That is to pick up patients from nursing home or other facilities to go to the hospital for surgery or other procedures or vice versa. We have a business license already but we need to get in touch with Department of health at Richmond,Va. for vehicle specifications. We tried to call different departments but they can't direct us to the right department. Can you give us the right department address or telephone no? |

Have you tried talking to the DOT? Most public transportation, that would be ran by a privatly owned business. I. E. a limousine service, is licenced and regulated by the Department of Transportation. General Information, VDOT Central Office (804) 786-2801 1221 East Broad Street, Richmond, Virginia 23219 E-mail: vdotinfo@VirginiaDOT.org Nenna-GA |

I don't know about that state, but I live in Las Vegas (Henderson), NV and see those vans near my house a lot. Check out yellowpages.com . Call one there and I'm sure they can tell you where they had to get thier specs from. Best of luck to you. |
