Delaplla -- According to the Encyclopedia Britannica, citing the 1939 edition of the Automobile Manufacturers Association "Facts and Figures," American production (including Canada) was: 1929: 4,790,707 1930: 2,906,082 1931: 2,038,162 1932: 1,186,185 1933: 1,627,361 Note that this is not the result of a Google search but rather a manual checking of the "Motor Car" production statistics in an older Encyclopedia Britannica.
