The gross amounts are not available on the September 11th Victim
Compensation Fund site. Moreover, they are being updated to reflect
ongoing payments.

However, these pages are helpful:

"Compensation for Deceased Victims"
September 11th Victim Compensation Fund of 2001
http://www.usdoj.gov/victimcompensation/payments_deceased.html

"Compensation for Personal Injury Victims" (scroll to bottom of page)
September 11th Victim Compensation Fund of 2001
http://www.usdoj.gov/victimcompensation/payments_injury.html

As of today, deceased victims awards after offsets works out to
$8,832,060,971 (4,547 award letters times $1,942,393 per award).

Are these statistics sufficient? If so, please let me know, so that I
can post them as an answer.

Unfortunately, answer is not sufficient. I've already reviewed the
USDOJ website and did the calculations as you did. What I need is in
essence the gross amount paid out for injured victims (which I could
then add to the death victims' numbers to get the total gross).
Thanks.
