Hello Fast1~

Mirapex is absorbed quickly into the body, reaching its peak
concentration in about 2 hours. Food only mildly affects how the drug
works in your body, delaying maximum plasma concentration by an hour.
(If you develop nausea from the drug, take the drug with food.)

Like Requip, one possible side effects is falling asleep during daily
activates. For this reason, you should not drive a car or operate
dangerous equipment until you?ve been on the drug for some time, and
feel confident that you won?t have this side effect. Many patients had
no warning signs of falling asleep (like drowsiness). If you have such
a side effect, you should talk to your doctor about it immediately. If
at any time you shows any signs of this side effect, you should also
refrain from driving or operating dangerous equipment.

Like Requip, Mirapex may affect your blood pressure.

Like Requip, Mirapex may cause patients to hallucinate. Again, if this
side effect occurs, consult your doctor immediately.

Like patients on Requip, some Mirapex patients experience dizziness,
nausea, fainting or blackouts, and/or sweating. Again, consult your
doctor if these symptoms occur. The makers of Mirpex also advise that
?patients should be cautioned against rising rapidly after sitting or
lying down, especially if they have been doing so for prolonged
periods and especially at the initiation of treatment with Mirapex.?

If you become pregnant while on Mirapex, or if you are breast feeding,
consult your doctor.

In some cases Mirapex may make you thirsty, agitated, and affect your vision.

For all this information, and much more, please consult the
pharmacological ?prescribing information? found in the PDF file on the
Mirapex website: http://www.mirapex.com/C/about.asp (click on the
?View the PI? link near the top of the page).

According to the prescribing information for Requip (found at
http://us.gsk.com/products/assets/us_requip.pdf ), the drug is not
addictive, so there should be no withdrawal symptoms.

Regards,
Kriswrite
