Looking for information on a fundraiser idea originated in Atlanta
Georgia (perhaps by a girl scout council) which implemented a sale of
golf balls as game of chance that were then dropped from an aiprlane
on a golf course, with the hole in one or closest winning the prize.

Greetings, amyjol!

I have located numerous advertising or reporting on such a fundraiser
event in several states, but none seem to have been in Atlanta.
Exactly what sort of information are you seeking?

Regards,

I'm really just looking for similiar events for benchmarking purposes.
The one I originally hear of was in Atlanta, however I'm looking for
any info (event details etc) on chopper droppers or such.

Howdy amyjol-ga,

I found all sorts of references to similar fundraisers, but none that were in
Atlanta, Georgia. Perhaps another reseacher can find your specific event.

For them, the balls are dropped from a helicopter. A bit safer than a plane.
