Hi rs7!! Thank you for let me answer your question. The required infe can be found at the following document: "Growth and study of some gel grown group II single crystals of iodate" http://www.ias.ac.in/matersci/bmsoct2001/461.pdf Regarding to the difference between the document data and your own lab results, I can only guess that it may be due the presence of some impurities. Note that the temp range for the doped calcium iodate is lower. You can also find the following datasheets usefull: "MONOHYDRATE CALCIUM IODATE ": http://www.jefo.ca/fiches_anglais/calcium_iodate.html "Calcium Iodate Monohydrate": http://www.wm-blythe.co.uk/WMBLYTHE/CSDS.nsf/0/60eb466d27f52ae58025677f00443dac?OpenDocument Be sure that I will try to find more info related to your last question and I will post the results. Note that after the question is answered, it is still open to the rest of the Google Answers community to post comments. Best regards. livioflores-ga |

livioflores... Thank you. Yes its does. Please post it as an answer (and a good one). However, I would like to leave this question open for another reference. (I wonder how to do this at Google). My own lab results indicate that the dehydration temp for calcium iodate monohydrate is 170 - 175 deg. C while you ref. claims it to be 225-280 deg. C. |
