I wish to find sources of commodity price indices (end of day pricing)
that is not copyright and available free. This is for commodity
markets globally covering metals, grain, meat, oil, gas, electricity
etc. Ideally this would be available in electronic - XML - form. Many thanks.

Hello Jack,
Are you looking for historical data? Or do you just need a site to
check the commodities prices each day?

Best regards,
elmarto

I would like daily information at a minimum, but ideally I need
historical data as well. 6 months history would do at a push, but more
would be better. Basically if that index has existed for longer then,
hopefully one could get historical data as well.

Well, some websites post end of day commodity prices such as CNN <
http://money.cnn.com/markets/commodities.html > and Bloomberg <
http://money.cnn.com/markets/commodities.html >.

These are made available free, but are copyrighted. You can either ask
permission for reproduction or extract them from their webpages,
depending on the purpose.

If you wish for prices without copyright, you'd have to buy them from
the sources, depending on which markets you're seeking.
