In performing screen edits to the Purchase Order module, (po.exe) for
Maximo version 4.01, using Centura Object Nationalizer, my goal is to
propagate a receiving document number in much the way a serial number
is propagated to the equipment table. I would like to know how to
modify the resource object dlgDoEqForRot in order to accomplish this.
I am happy to be able to obtain the value for the document number and
save it in a table somewhere. I will personnally build a trigger on
the database to ensure propagation to the equipment table.

Additional information which may be useful:

Maximo Module: Purchase Orders
Tab: Material Receipts
Actions required to simulate request:

With an approved Purchase Order displayed, input a line number
corresponding to an item from the "PO Lines" tab. (Click anywhere to
invoke the autofil
feature). Click on the "save" icon. During the "save", an intermediate
dialog screen will appear. At this time it is necessary to indicate values for
the equipment numbers (they can be input by the operator or
autogenerated). Also at this time, the serial number is input
manually. When all information is required, the operator clicks "OK"
and the receipt function is complete. My request is to allow another
piece of information to be input along with the serial number. The
information is text and will need to be input at the same time as the
serial number.
