Hi, As I am not payed by google for this research, I didn't went too far. What I found is a consumer site (in French), where you can check the technical descriptions for GSM phones 900/1800. Prices are in Euro. http://www.gsmparadise.com/guide_achat_resultat.php Hope this will help you, Sophie |

Dear Stuartc-ga, In the UK on the GSM service of Vodafone you can make use of the keyboard of your computer to sent messages via the SMS by using the Logomanager software package. You will also need either a compatible data cable that connects to the serial port of your PC or an infrared connection to the PC. You can see details of requirements including a compatibility list of Nokia GSM models at the following link: http://www.logomanager.co.uk/ A free trial version of Logomanager is available at the above link. I hope this is the information that you want. |

Hello again stuartc-ga, I believe there are no GSM phones that can be used to do what you want. I assume you want the received messages to be displayed on the PC. There are companies that have installed software and GSM hardware onto a PC or Local Area Network (LAN), and converted the PC into a two-way sms device. For an example please go to the following link: http://www.storm.co.za/smsmail.asp I hope this clarifies the matter for you. |
