Hi walbur,

I have not been able to locate an upcoming production of a film "We
Will Rock You", based on Queen's musical.
I have, however, located information for the premiere of this rock
musical in the US.

Please let me know if this interests you.

Regards,
Rainbow

Queen did a live concert movie in 1983 called "We Will Rock You"

http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/QueenWeWillRockYou-1016968/about.php
"Freddie Mercury and Queen give one of their best live performances at
the Montreal Forum. The feature-length concert film includes such hits
as "Bohemian Rhapsody," "Tie Your Mother Down," "Let Me Entertain
You," "Play the Game," "Another One Bites the Dust," "Crazy Little
Thing Called Love," "Under Pressure" and "I'm in Love with My Car."

Hi walbur,

After a further search for this movie version, I have located vague
references to an upcoming production. The following are some excerpts:

"Beyonce has obviously made quite the impression in the latest Pepsi
campaign with Pink and Britney that features Queen's "We Will Rock
You." According to reports, the singer is said to be in talks to star
in the movie version of a London musical based on the music of Queen.
Apparently Beyonce is hoping for the lead role of Killer Queen.
Production on the film is set to begin in early 2005."

According to this link, from Brian May's official web site, the film
is only a rumor at the moment.

The film is a long way off, if it even happens. Right now it's been
put forward as a project by the company that owns the stage rights,
but nobody has put their money forward to make it happen just yet.
Which means, unless someone in a high position has a big pile of old
Queen tapes on their desk, it probably won't.
