Hi Teticio,
Thanks for your question about Bollywood film soundtracks. Due to the
resurgence in interest in this genre, there are a lot of reissues out
there, as well as compilation. There are a number of specialty stores
selling on the web, particularly those specializing in underground hip
hop, indie rock, and "world" music.
One of them is Dusty Groove America, which is located in Chicago, IL,
but which also sells records online. Some of the Bollywood items they
have on LP include Bollywood Breaks, Bollywood Funk and Bollywood
Nights. These are, let me repeat, compilations of tracks from a
variety of Bollywood films, not individual soundtracks.
Original soundtracks at Dusty Groove:
RD Burman -- Shalimar . . . LP . . . $14.99 (Item: 58061)
Shalimar, Early 70s (Gatefold) Condition: New Copy
Ananda Shankar -- 2001 (reissue) . . . LP . . . $14.99 (Item: 47900)
Shiva Sounds, 1984 Condition: New Copy
By searching "Bollywood" on EBay, I found several LPs on auction. Of
course I can't vouch for the sellers, but it seems like auction sites
might be a good place to try. A seller named banana_louie seems to be
auctioning a number of Bollywood soundtracks by the people you
mentioned and others on vinyl.
I hope that helps! My heuristic here was simply to find places that
hipsters like to buy used records...not very scientific, I realize!

Hi again,
A couple of other ideas - I don't know where you're located, but if
you're in the New York City area I would recommend both Kim's
Underground (on Bleeker) and Other Music (on 4th St, I think, East of
B'Way). Kim's doesn't seem to have a website (that I could locate,
anyway...), and I didn't find exactly what you were looking for at
Other Music (on their website, http://www.othermusic.com) but they
might be worth a try if convenient.
Also, I thought of this:

An MSN group for Bollywood devotees...they might have some ideas!
