John A. Rose (aka John Arose) married Martha "Patty" Carman at

The information provided is from the transcribed notes of Rev John
Fountain. A fairly complete list is in the Book, "At The Headwaters of
Cheesequake Creek" published by the Madison Township Historical
Society. Confirmed by the Carman Family Library. Confidence is high. 8
children from Oct 1812 to 1832 when Martha died, (probably from the
Cholera Epedemic). Martha was born c 1790 at Mount Pleasant (now
Matawan), died in Morristown (near Cliffwood Beach)in Middlesex County
(NOT Morris county)

Where did you get your information and it is fairly reliable? If you
could provide any additional clues, such as names and birth dates of
their children, or Martha/Patty's date of birth, it would help with
the research.

I just wanted to suggest that you post your same query on a genealogy
website message board called www.rootsweb.com. Click on the MESSAGE
BOARDS link, and then enter MIDDLESEX COUNTY in the box labeled "FIND
A MESSAGE BOARD", and up should come a page of various links and you
would search for the MIDDLESEX COUNTY--NEW JERSEY link. Click on
those blue letters and it will take you directly to that message
board.

With records that far back in time usually there is a local
genealogical researcher who has access who can probably help you get
your questions answered.
Good luck!
