I could check my e-mail box but I could use the Yahoo ID to chat.
Anyway, do you know how to get the list of people I have added as my chat list?
Reply asap.

Hi Steve,

Were you able to get signed on to Messenger via the link I gave you ok
(sorry I mentioned the Email link, I meant the Launch Messenger link)?

According to Yahoo, there are two things to check in regards to your Friends List:

1)
1. In the main Yahoo! Messenger window, click the View menu.
2. Make sure the Content Bar menu option is selected.
3. On the Content Bar (at the bottom of your Friend List), choose the
tab that looks like a person alongside two smiley faces. This is your
Friends tab.

You may have checked the Show Only Online Friends option, which would
cause your friends not to show up if they are not currently online.

2)
Click the View menu at the top of the Messenger screen, and look for
Show Only Online Friends. Make sure this option is not checked, or you
will not see all your friends.

Dear Steve,

You can try resetting your password using:
Yahoo!'s reset password page
http://edit.yahoo.com/config/eval_forgot_pw?new=1&.done=http://mail.yahoo.com&.src=ym&partner=&.partner=&.intl=us&pkg=&stepid=&.last=

Hope it works for you.

If you are using Norton Internet Security or similar firewall-type
software, you may need to either modify your "global" settings, or
customize the settings for either of these domains:

yahoo.com
messenger.yahoo.com

The key settings that you should check are:

cookies
"Information about your browser"
"Information about visited sites"
