I am trying to find out information about the Old Covered Spring
House, which is located in the Fort Bennett Park in Arlington,
Virginia.  I basically need a map of where the park is located and I
would like a picture of the House if it is available.  I have
previously asked the Virginia Room at the Arlington County Central
library about this but they don't have any pictures of it. I think
they gave me everything they had on the park and old house.  But I am
not totally satified yet as I still believe more information must still be
out there.

I am still waiting for someone to step forward and help me answer this
question.  To make it more willing to be answered (can't think of the

Can you believe it, I am still looking information about this old
covered spring house. I think that it is getting kind of "old" but I
am still determined to find the answer. Besides this question and
answer board, can anyone suggest any other resources I could use to
research my question. Does anyone know of any other research centers I
could contact with speciality in Arlington Couty history. Most of the
people I have written have suggested that ask the Arlington Historic
Society and the Arlington County "Virginia Room".  Which I have done.
Neither one, of them have produced any materials that anyone has been
willing to send to me. And neither one, have a picture that they know
of that exist of the old covered spring house. I would like hearing
from anyone who would like to put there 2 cents into this subject.

I can easily give you specific public transportation directions to
Fort Bennett Park (which is only 10 acres in area).  However, I have
still been unable to come up with a photograph.  I have sent an e-mail
to a possible source of more information for you, and I will let you
know when I get a response.

Thank you for the work you have done on it so far. I know that you
told me that you can't locate a picture of it yet, but are you able to
find me any written information about the history text wise. I guess
that is half of the assignment.  NO pressure, but maybe you could work
on that when you are waiting for the answer about the picture of the
Old Covered Spring House. Please don't feel obigated to do this it is
just suggestion.  On the otherhand maybe you have already done it ?? 
Anyhow you are a fantastic researcher..
