Question ID: 345860
I run each morning in Hudson River Park in New York City. Starting at
Christopher Street and the West side highway I run north to 14th
street along the river- then I turn around and run back past where I
started and keep going along the river out onto the emabankment and
past the world financial center ferry stop all the way down to the
edge of battery park and then I turn around and run back back to
Christopher street the same way I came down. How many miles am I
running?? Please help.

Maybe this will help you:

BODY TRENDS

At least this way if you change your route you'll instantly know the new distances.

One thing you could do is get on http://maps.yahoo.com, and get
driving directions for each waypoint.

Christopher Street to 14th and back: .7 miles each way, for a total
of 1.4 miles. http://maps.yahoo.com/dd_result?ed=yoZHv.V.wikfmtH4vf7rUdg.e0Mv1YRySJ1sJ9hpq63ZCvMEdkjME3080PDto0GHSWy0yvTg5DSWt5Q_KVvTtec42klQdzLMdDQ-&csz=new+york%2C+new+york&country=us&tcsz=new+york%2C+new+york&tcountry=us

Christopher street to Battery Pl and back: 2.0 miles each way, for a
total of 4.0 miles.

Looks like the total is approximately 5.7 miles.
