Hello gmewithaspoon~
There are several reasons you haven't found the link to the website
from which the Berg video is said to have originated. The first is
that the website has already been shut down. The website apparently
was: www.al-ansar.biz (You'll find this information on a number of
websites found through a Google search, including:
"Bloggers doubt Berg execution video," Aljazeera.net:
http://english.aljazeera.net/NR/exeres/4FFA61A3-9C33-4597-A8D9-8079E91F2784.htm
"Malaysia PM Says Web Terror Sites Unacceptable," Techzonez:
(Google cache, for a limited time)
"Islamic Websites Call For Revenge," Steve Quail:
http://www.stevequayle.com/News.alert/04_Unrest/040507.call.4revenge.html
and many, many others.
The second reason the website name may not have been mentioned
frequently is that many people don't want their children to have
access to something so gruesome. The television news media, in
particular, must be careful not to show too much. Internet sites are
also easily accessible to children, and so at least a certain measure
of cloak and dagger may be called for. In addition, the media does not
want to cater to those who get a "kick" out of watching these things.
They must ask themselves: Do we really need to show this?
Although the Berg video may not have been especially easy to find
online, it was (and is) still out there.
Regards,
Kriswrite
