I would like to know the structure of the communications protocol that
takes place during the Product activation process.  'C' structures and
frame content but do not need to know proprietary encryption methods. 
I have reviewed the Microsoft public domain stuff and understand
generically the process, but a lot of detail is missing. Whatever the
answer, I would need to also understand how to verify the answer.
