Looking for a disc jockey in South Jersey by the name of Big Howie T

Is this DJ a radio personality or a dance club DJ?

The only Howie T I could find is a club DJ who isn't associated with New Jersey.

No pun intended, but I'm not sure I'm on the right track!

I can't find a "Big Howie T," but it's possible he altered his stage
name over the years.

Take a look at this photo of Howie T. spinning discs at Girl Bar's
11th anniversary, at Girl Bar in West Hollywood:
http://www.girlbar.com/photos.html
(Type "Howie T" into your "Find" feature to find the photo quickly.)

Does he look like the DJ you remember?

Here's a bio of DJ Howard Tripp, aka "Howie T":
DJ Howie T (Howard Tripp), is a former dancer and has actually worked
all over the U.S. but his residence appears to be Tampa Bay:
Mixmaster Hall of Fame:
http://www.teddwebb.com/showcase/mixmasters/howard_tripp.html
Note the sentence: "The Suncoast record pool ran by Tripp for over 23
years is one of the oldest record pools in the U.S. At one time 1/3 of
the national promotional Directors of major labels in New York City
came from Tripp?s office" which implies (correctly or not) that Tripp
was actually in a NYC city office.

I'm afraid I can't find a "Big Howie T" associated with New Jersey.
This is the best I've come up with, so far.

Howie is easy to recognize as he weighs in excess of 300 lbs. He
worked at Bayshores in NJ last summer

I'm very sorry -- I've just struck out completely!

I certainly hope that one of my colleagues can locate Big Howie T.
(Perhaps a researcher who lives in the greater NYC, tri-state area can
find a lead on him.)

Good Luck!
