When I was living in Spain, I saw Beauty and the Beast (the Disney
version) in Spanish. I've since seen it in Spanish, but the dubbing
was not done in Spain - it was a South American accent, and the
characterization was off. What I am looking for is the version that
was dubbed in Spain - the version that was shown in Spain in 1992. If
it's on VHS, NTSC is preferable, but PAL is acceptable. If it's on
DVD (preferable), I'd prefer Region 1 coding, but other regions are
acceptable as well. Thanks. |

Dear viperdoc,
As far as I know, Disney uses the European Spanish (not the South
American) dubbing for the region code 2 DVDs published in Europe.
Therefore, any European DVD edition of "Beauty and the Beast" should
feature the European Spanish version. And DVDs produced in Spain by
The Walt Disney Company Iberia would, of course, also use the European
Spanish soundtrack.
Here are two mail order stores in Spain offering region code 2 DVDs of
"La Bella y la Bestia":
CentroMail, Madrid - 22.94 Euros

Veoveo, Haro - 28.56 Euros (Collectors Edition)

It is not Google Answers standard procedure to post trial answers;
however, in this case I see no other way since you shall not have to
pay for this answer before you are satisfied with the DVD soundtrack,
should you decide to order one.
In that case, please let me know and I will post this as a regular answer.
