Since I went on broadband, why do I sometimes suddenly hear bird
chirps ... from different sites. It's almost like someone does it as
a joke, to let me know they are in my system?! Thanks for answer.

Do you have the Google toolbar installed? The popup blocking feature
makes a little sound, which surprised me the other day; usually I have
my speakers turned way down.

Are you sure it's from the website? I have HDD Health installed on my
system and it chirps sometime.

Do you have WeatherBug installed? www.weatherbug.com That's the
program that shows the current temperature down by the time on your
task bar. Whenever a weather alert is issued, it will "chirp" to let
you know you should check it.

Thanks to sickpc...but I don't have weatherbug, so chirps don't come from them.
Yikes they just started up right now...maybe they're from google!
