Do you want to study in the United States? Do you want to work there?

Most colleges and universities in the United States will recognize at
least some credits from institutions of higher learning elsewhere in
the world. This is a highly individualized process that usually
involves scrutinizing the exact nature of the foreign coursework so
that its equivalency to existing courses at the American school can be
determined.

My husband's freshman year was spent at an engineering college in
Spain. When he later enrolled as a sophomore at a university in the
US, his coursework was examined and accepted, and his college hours
were transferred just as if he'd come from another school in the US.
