Has Castro been hurt by the embargo?  Has he benefitted from any
aspects of it -- impoverishing his enemies or profiting from the black
market e.g.?  What does the US govt. hope to accomplish through the
embargo?

Howdy cwd-ga,

If you want more than a relatively brief answer, you might consider
increasing your price.  Here is a similar (in that it deals with Cuba)
question that I answered, with around the same complexity (a 3 part
question) that was probably reasonably priced.
