I have ZoneAlarm on my computer. Whenever I start up, it says, watchb45.exe is trying to access the Internet. Should I let the file access the Internet? What is it? Why or why not? I searched on Google and could find no information at all about this file or program. I had a computer savvy person help me but they had never heard of this either. |

Hi newsboy, No, don't let it access the internet. Do this instead: 1) Download and run Adaware ("Check for Updates Now" before running): http://www.spychecker.com/program/adaware.html 2) Download and run HijackThis (update this also before running): http://www.spychecker.com/program/hijackthis.html Post your HijackThis log on the following forum: HelpOnThe.Net > TSG Forums > Internet & Networking > Security: http://forums.techguy.org/forumdisplay.php?f=54 The only reference I could find to watchb45 was the following. Note that it was suggested that watchb45 be removed: ://www.google.ca/search?q=cache:NNreEHAWmoUJ:forums.techguy.org/t224664.html+watchb45&hl=en I hope this helps. If you have any questions, please post a clarification request before closing/rating my answer. Thank you, hummer Google Search Terms Used: watchb45 |
