Note that I'm simply asking for his work email -- I don't want/need
any personal information, and don't expect him to answer my email
directly; however, I've had a terrible experience with one of their
laptops and I'm in an email circle with Customer Service.

I thought that if I copied him on my email to Customer Service, that
one of his assistants may route it to someone who can help get the
problem resolved.

As you most likely already know, the e-mail address for Ted Waitt is
not readily available for the public. However, there is a way for you
to try to bring your plight to the attention of Ted, or other senior
leaders in the Gateways organization, even if you do not have their
e-mail address.

If you check out the following page:

you will see the listing of executives for Gateway Computers. As you
will note from this page, Ted Waitt recently passed on the titles of
President/CEO of the company to Wayne Inouye, who held the same
positions with eMachines (which was acquired by Gateway in March,
2004). Ted remains the Chairman of the Board. You should also note the
name of Mike Zimmerman, the senior VP responsible for Customer Care.

The reason I mention that you should note these names, is because
there is a high likelihood that this is all you need to figure out
their e-mail addresses.

If you look at various of the company's press releases through out the
years, located at:

and in particular, look at the Gateway contact persons' names and
e-mail addresses at the bottom of each release, you will see that the
"standard" e-mail address is comprised of First.Last@gateway.com,
where First = first name, Last = last name. Therefore, there is a high
likelihood that if you were to send an e-mail to e-mail addresses
based on the first and last names of the individuals listed on the
executive bio page above, you may be able to reach at least their
executive assistants.

experience dealing with Gateway Customer Service this past
December/January when her own laptop computer required service.

I wish you the best of luck in getting to a satisfactory conclusion to
what I suspect is a very frustrating experience. If your current
exchange of emails is anything like the one documented on the
nemicus.com webpage, then you have my total sympathy.

addresses including CEOs, CFOs, etc.
