I would like to know some differences between H323 and SIP. As I
understand it H323 is what is working today and what people "know"
works, SIP is a better standard (XML-based) but is too loose. Can
anyone point me to some links regarding  SIP vs. H323 and what is the
better, and WHY it is better

SIP --text based protocol.Doesnt bond with any layer
independent of upper layers
Simple Architecture.

h.323--ASCIi Format.
vertically integrated protocol.
COmplex architect
