I heard this song about two years ago. The song sounded a bit older. I
remember very little about this song but it keeps bugging me.

The song starts with

either "Romeo met Juliet" or "Romeo and Juliet"

and has the following lines

"feel the rhythm"
followed by
either "feel my hand" or "hold my hand"

I would really appreciate any pointers. TIA

Hello,

This is very little to go on really when searching for a song - so
it's going to be hard for anyone to post an answer and say 'This is
your song' with any kind of authority. Do you remember the songs
genre? Did it have a rock or blues or jazz sound? Was it rap, hip hop
or something else? Off of the top of my head, the only song that comes
to mind with Romeo and Juliet and 'hold my hand' or 'take my hand' is
Don't Fear the Reaper by the Blue Oyster Cult. Anyway, if you think of
any more details I'd be glad to take another look and see if I can
help you with this. :)

Good luck!
Regards,

might be
http://www.discomusic.com/vault/costandinos_alec.html
a disco song by Alec R Costandinos called "romeo and juliet"
I couldn't find any lyrics, though.

another possible:
randy weston, mystery of love
://www.google.ca/search?q=cache:tTskpFp13h0C:www.randyweston.myweb.nl/Discpage/rw%25202002ancientfuture.htm+romeo+juliet+rhythm+feel+hand+song+-dire&hl=en&ie=UTF-8

it's not "just like romeo and juliet" by the reflections, nor is it a
romeo/juliet song by phillip clark.

have a listen to "blue Oyster cults"'s "don't fear the reaper"
He's singing "don't fear the reaper, baby take my hand" but I could
hear how it could be heard as "feel the rhythm"
it talks about romeo and juliet in the middle of the song.

I am sorry if the answer isn't here. I have to get some sleep. if you
wish to continue the hunt:

google search terms:
start with page 16.

romeo juliet rhythm feel hand song -dire

Hi dandrick,sparky4ca
You guys are geniuses. Indeed the song is "Don't fear the reaper" by
the Blue Oyster Cult. If one of you can answer the question(dandrick
was first) I will accept the answer right away. If neither of you can
let me know if I can pay you back in some other way.

Thanks
Suresh

Hello,

I'm glad my guess was right - if there's a way for me to accept the
price I would love to do so. I guess that's something some admin type
Google person would have to arrange. Thanks for using Google!

Sureshk-ga, I'm just glad I was able to come up with any sort of
answer. I'm not actually a researcher yet (Google says they are about
a month behind in the applications.) So I'm just going around, trying
to answer stuff in comments, for practice.
