Greetings, mbhenry! According to the Social Security Death Index, Max Heaslet was born February 17, 1907, and he passed away in July 1976. The death certificate was issued in California, where Stanford is located, so between that and the matching birth year, I'd say that this is definitely your guy. http://ssdi.genealogy.rootsweb.com/cgi-bin/ssdi.cgi?lastname=heaslet&firstname=&middlename=&ssn=&zip=&start=60&issue=&birth=&death=&bmo=&dmo=&lump=&bda=&dda=&nt=exact&ls=&lc=&lct=&lus=&luc=&luct=&stat= U.S. Social Security Death Index (SSDI) http://ssdi.genealogy.rootsweb.com Regards, aceresearcher
