I am trying to find the birth year for Peter Gilkey who is a
mathematician at the University of Oregon. Here is his website:

I have not had luck contacting him.

Thanks for your question.

According to his entry in "American Men & Women of Science," Peter
Belden Gilkey was born in Utica, NY on 27 February 1946. He obtained
his B.A. and M.A. in Mathematics from Yale and his PhD in Mathematics
from Harvard. He was an associate professor and is now a professor at
the University of Oregon.

vol. 3, 19th ed., p. 157.
