Are there any states that take into account that a foriegn medical
physician is a USA citizen who recieved federal loans to attend the
medical school (ROSS) that they graduated from. This doctor also
practiced for 5 years taking care of only USA and Canadian citizens
who became sick or were injured while visiting Cancun (day and
night)and has many testimonials, even some from the USA Embassy and
Canadian Embassy. It just seems, since this doctor was paid by US and
Canadian insurance companies (that is right, he recieved direct
payment from insurance companies), that they would have been accepted
back into the US system without having to take all those test and
patted on the back for his dedication to helping his fellow country
men in places where medicine is considered 3rd world. And by accepting
these type of doctors back more readily, would insure that thier
student loans would get paid back. Anyway, this country may be just
shooting itself in the foot one more time...I guess I am for testing a
doctors clinical abilities and bedside mannerism, not how they answer
questions on a test.
Your input appreciated.
