I believe I have spyware on my computer because when i do a google
search the first page of results appear like ads to get me to use
other sites and the second page of results are the actual results.
this makes my searches really slow and i can not find any way to stop
it. i used spybot and adaware and it is still there. help please! my
computer has also been sluggish especially internet but there are no
viruses. i read someone with a similar problem but it said "results
sponsored by" on the page. mine does nto say that. thanks for your
help!

There's a lot of this spyware going around. Could you describe
anything more about the ads that appear -- for example, the page's
URL, what appears in the ads, or the URLs that show up if you click on
the ads? (If you don't want to click on the ads, that's
understandable. You could always hover over an ad, or right click to
see the properties of the ads, in order to find out the URL to which
it supposedly links.)

Also, have you tried any other programs besides virus scanners in
order to clean your computer?
