I need directions for a trip from Havertown, PA to Wildwood Crest, NJ via A BIKE. I only want to travel roads (highways or state roads) on which it is legal to ride a bike. It is required to cross a bridge as well - and the bridge needs to permit Bicycle access. A trip from Philadelphia to Wildwood Crest would be adequate (Havertown is 8 miles outside of Philly). The trip needs to be the shortest trip possible. Unfortunately, I cannot take the Commodore Barry (the closest bridge). A normal carride to the shorepoint is 90 miles. Around that distance is preferrable (if possible). I have found the following Bicylce access list from PENNDOT: Commodore Barry Bridge Cyclists prohibited Walt Whitman Bridge Cyclists prohibited Ben Franklin Bridge Cyclists permitted (south side 7a.m. - 6 p.m.) Betsy Ross Bridge Cyclists prohibited Tacony/Palmyra Bridge Cycles permitted but bicycle must be walked Burlington/Bristol Bridge Cyclists prohibited Thank you! |
