Question ID: 348918
I need a supersedeas bond for a civil action in Alabama. Where do i get one?
I have property of greater value than the amount required for this
bond while I am appealing a judgement against me. My fight is with a
bank and other banks will not talk to me because they stick together.
I have already one a major victory against the largest bank in the
state and now, on a side suit I must go to appeals court but I have to
post a bond first in order to get to the appeal level. Where do I go
to get one besides a bank in Alabama

Is "supersedeas" one word or 2? Should it be "supersede as bond"? Do
a search engine search using this phrase and you should find some
possible sites you would be interested in using the format of.

Supersedeas bonds are typically issued by insurance companies, not
banks. I suggest that you contact an independent insurance agent in
your locality to check out the various options for you.
