HELP! The Apple i-Book that I bought two years ago, has CONSTANT
problems. Being disabled and going back and forth to The Apple Store
has become a TOTAL PAIN IN THE BUTT.
APPLE IS A GIANT RIPP-OFF!
Can someone recommend a reliable notebook P.C. with a DVD player for around $1,500?
Thanks, Yesmam

Every computer manufacturer will have problems, so it's not unique to
just Apple computer.
Since laptop prices are so variable, check out the major PC
manufacturers and see what they list. IBM makes great laptops and Dell
has specials all the time on their website.

Thanks vbmdu.

Are PCs harder to learn for very elementry things such as the Internet than Apple?
That is the only thing that I use a computer for.

I was looking into buying a laptop recently, and found emachines has
some surprisingly powerful notebooks available in that price range.
