Dear edystone,
"Ocean Trust Fincance" is, to say the least, extremely dubious.
According to their website ( http://www.oceantrustplc.com/contact.htm
), their haulage office has the address Hoogoorddreef 43, 1051 JL,
Amsterdam, Netherlands.
This address alone is more than suspicious: While there is a street
named Hoogoorddreef in the city of Amsterdam, there is no No. 43 at
all. The street is located in Amsterdam-Zuidoost; but the zip code
1051 JL belongs to a completely different part of town,
Amsterdam-Staatsliedenbuurt.
Furthermore, the fake Hoogoorddreef 43 address quite often shows up in
connection with Internet frauds, with different names of "companies".
For that reason alone, I would already strongly recommend keeping away
from Ocean Trust Finance - a company that gives a (clumsily faked)
mock address can under no circumstances be trusted.
But that is not all - that "company" took even more steps to cloak
their real location and identity. I have checked their domain name,
"oceantrustplc.com", for the owner's data. But instead of a real
address, phone number, or other identification any trustworthy company
would display, the alleged owner of the domain is "Whois Privacy
Protection Service, Inc.". For your information: This identitiy
cloaking service is offered by eNom (http://www.enom.com/). Spammers,
fraudsters and fake companies use this method to hide their
identities.
So since the "company" is very obviously nothing but a fake, designed
for the purpose of conducting fraud and similar illegal activities,
they don't deserve any trust.
