I have recently came up with a new idea for a sport and want to get a
patent or something on it so no one can still my idea. Where can i go
to submit my new sport? I am only 17 and don't know much on what i am
supposed to do. if you could help it would be great.

Just something to think about...  Usually, if you want to patent
something it's because you want to protect your ability to monetize
(charge for) what's covered.  Although I don't know the legalities or
feasibility of patenting a team sport (I'm sure some Google researcher
can answer that...) it would seem to me that for a sport to be
popular, you need people to be aware of it and to want to play it. 
What would the patent grant you, then?  Promotional rights?  Branding
and naming of the game?  Control over the rules? (What's to keep
someone from changing the rules slightly and coming up with a similar
game?)  Perhaps there is some specialized equipment involved? If so,
that may be more patentable, but again, what's your monetization
model?  You've given me something interesting to ponder... and
hopefully I've done the same for you.
